Thanks to the Sims 4 Mod community, you can do almost anything in your game. Previously you have restrictions for doing a specified task in your game. The Sims 4 Mods, however, are much improved. But they can really help in the form of interactions in your daily life. Unfortunately, the emotions never amount to anything significant. These Aspirations direct to your sims emotions which sounds great.įor example, if your sim is happy he/she can be more sociable and perform more efficiently at work.
You can then assign an aspiration to them with 3 unique traits. Clicking and dragging the mouse can adjust the size and shape and nearly every aspect of your character, and the option feels limitless. The happiness moodlets also behave differently because happy isn’t an emotion that humans feel each day and your sims will only feel truly happy when something great happens.Character customization is better than ever, thanks to an intuitive interface. For example, a sim with an uncomfortable moodlet may have this boosting their sad moodlet and making that worse for them. Meaningful stories will add meaningful moods where your sims are going to have their emotions be more varied and much more subtle and specific moods are able to boost others.
You aren’t going to be embarrassed for 8 hours after seeing someone on the toilet. The way it works currently in the vanilla game is that the emotions are constantly flopping just because your sim entered a well decorated room or walked in on someone using the bathroom but this isn’t how emotions work IRL. With the meaningful stories mod you can have a completely redesign this emotions system that make your sim’s feel more human. When The Sims 4 was released they had a lot of their marketing material focused on smarter sims and especially on this emotions system that seems to be a flop a few years later.
